The football round robin is an abomination of a format but is gone after this year for a winners and losers section which worked well in the Wexford club championships in the early to mid 00’s. Mind you, the Mayo group should be fascinating now as they’re in an awful tight corner. The group of death could be interesting too if Derry can stir.

Overall the football championship has been great so far. Some classic provincial games. Meath v Dublin, Louth v Meath, Kerry v Cork, Armagh v Tyrone, Donegal v Armagh and Galway v Mayo standout. It’s very open.

Hurley has since been found. Tom had placed it in his man bun ala a pencil in an art teacher’s bun and forgot all about it.

I think waterford are unlucky they generally dont seem to get a few key calls in games…they are not far off it.their backs are solid.u could make a claim that conor prunty has been the best full back in the championship so far…they struggle to hit 30 points thats their problem.easier said than done
