Munster SHC 2021

Galway in the hurling are always the enigma, they could beat Dublin by 10+ or misfire and get sucked into a dogfight. Playing it dangerous and strictly going by what my own eyes have seen so far they should comfortably see the Dubs off.

Not sure what you’re seeing in Dublin. Underperformed in the league where I thought they’d have tried to put down a proper marker.

I thought/ think Antrim are decent.
And Galway are Galway.
Dublin are solid if unspectacular.
I’ll be sick if we don’t beat them, but we’ve all been here before. We should beat them fairly well as we really have an excellent squad under excellent management, but I have PTSD

Galway -6 looks to be the only bit of value to me. I think they’ll be way too strong for Dublin.

Up yours Tony.

Galway will beat Dublin by as much as they like.

Surely 2018 and 2019 Waterford were far worse. They were whitewashed in 2019 weren’t they and took a couple of heavy beatings.

Exactly, 2019 was a few years ago. Well spotted.

Have a feeling limerick are in bother this weekend.

Are ye praying for Rain?

Rain would suit Cork.

Limerick love the heat, the hotter the better

Limerick love the rain

No matter how fuckin useless they are, take Cork for granted at your peril

Cork aren’t useless but they lack a spine in defence and dirty ball winners in forwards. If they get room they will damage any team

Limerick love hail, rain, thunder & lightning, sleet, snow, sunshine, heat, storms, hurricanes, typhoons… the whole lot… no more about it.

Why so?

You could have stopped there.

Limerick -2 looks a fine bet

You would think that it should be a win for Limerick. They win the game probably 8 times out of ten. What can Cork offer than might switch the game in their favour? The other factor is that this is a huge game for Cork and one which they have been building to since they regrouped, while for Limerick it is just the first game of the championship.

Cork managed to play the 2019 game on their terms and blew Limerick away but watching them since that it very much looks an aberration from both teams perspectives. Cork have plenty of hurling and pace, question is can they get the workrate and physically to the levels needed to live with Limerick. Limerick you would think even on an off day will play to a decent standard and be very tough to wear down. I think we will see Cork live with Limerick for long periods before Limerick kick on after the second waterbreak and put the game to bed.
