Munster SHC 2021

There will be record likes available for the poster who can get a picture of themselves drinking cans at the racetrack before the Cork/Limerick game.

You could also say the narrative the last few years is that Cork should have won in 18, did beat them in 19 & have Limerick’s number. They could very well be putting that myth to bed on Saturday night decisively

I assume a now TV day pass will allow me to watch all three games on Saturday?

Should do.

Limerick by 8. I said it months ago.

I’m cut from the same cloth as @flattythehurdler when it comes to this. It’s just a generational thing. All the pieces of the jigsaw seem in place but you just cant help but feel that a huge system’s failure is just around the corner. It comes from years of dashed hopes

This is unchartered territory, there’s never been as dominant a team to represent Limerick unless they had that briefly with Mackey, so all those dashed hopes are irrelevant, there’s no reason to fear Cork on Saturday, shout it from the mountain tops.
If Cork are to have a limited success this summer you feel it will need a few games for them to gel in the way they’ll need to, then if they get to Croke park later in the summer who knows?

I don’t think it’ll be terribly close on Saturday, Limerick by about 6

Cork have absolutely no chance this weekend.

They’ll be bate by as much as Limerick want to bate them by

Only limerick can beat limerick

And they have plenty of times

Even Limerick won’t beat Limerick.

I’ve been told it’ll be wet in Thurles on Saturday night.

Limerick will really fancy it now.

Cork are waiting in the long grass. The Cork team on display this Saturday night will be a very different proposition to the Cork team that faced Limerick in the league.

It’s likely to be a very tight game, and hopefully Limerick can scrape through by a point or two.

There could be a Hurricane, it doesn’t matter.

All things being equal I think Cork win but a wet night will really play into the hands of those big Limerick bullies around the middle.

That must be why Limerick have such a good record in Thurles :grinning:
