I think a big plus in Clareās favour coming into this is the league game from February where Cork were razor sharp and Nash was hitting quick puck out after quick puck out.
The half forward line didnāt work hard enough to close down their men while the midfield got sucked forward and left acres of room for the Cork half forwards to move into and in turn space for the inside men. So corks set up and approach will come as no surprise to them and I think the management will really look to test the Cork 5 to 9 and they will know exactly what to expect from Cork. Iād expect someone like Malone to be brought in for sheer work rate and Conlon to be put on Coleman with Kelly going to midfield. That will leave Cork with an issue as Cooper has been picking up the centre forward the last 2 games with Ellis sitting deep. Clare will hope that this will allow Colm Gavin to sit in and get on plenty of ball and send it in early and often to the full forward line.
Could anyone possibly help me with the usual request of what hurling is on TV this weekend, time and channel, so I can strategise accordingly? @Bandage et al??
