Semi-final permutations:

If Tipperary and Waterford win the Q/Fs: Galway v Waterford, Cork v Tipperary
If Tipperary and Clare win the Q/Fs: Galway v Clare, Cork v Tipperary,
If Tipperary and Wexford win the Q/Fs: Galway v Tipperary, Cork v Wexford
If Waterford and Clare win the Q/Fs: Galway v Clare Cork v Waterford
If Waterford and Wexford win the Q/Fs: Galway v Waterford, Cork v Wexford
If Wexford and Clare win the Q/Fs: Galway v Clare, Cork v Wexford

Great to have a second Munster championship to look forward to now

the raw material is not there, 2013 was a fluke, I was giving Wexford lads shit for years about 1996 and how crap they were, we have now replaced them as the worst Al Ireland winners in decades, a least Wexford won a few games in 97

No diarmuid has a rap sheet as long as his arm heā€™s earned the plaudits

Ballyvolane will be rocking tonight

A totally different type of cunt

Not to be pedantic, but Iā€™d heard of Brian Corcoran before that.

And I donā€™t think he was as good as Coleman is at that age.

He absolutely was, brilliant hurler.

Wexford won the Leinster Championship the following year and contested the AI Semi-Final, they probably won as many Championship matches in 1997 than Clare have won in the last 4 years.

But he was a corner back at 19 and not making telling contributions all over the pitch in the same way Coleman is.

Cork won two matches against top tier hurling counties in 1992, probably only one actually, as Limerick really werenā€™t a top tier team at that stage, and both of them at home in Paric Ui Chaoimh.

Theyā€™ve already won three this year with none of them at home.

Great to see Coleman garnering the plaudits that Tommy Walsh and Paudie Maher did once upon a time. By the usual rule of thumb be should be ordained a cunt in 24 months or so.

Donā€™t be silly

Coleman is in his 20th year so that would put him up against Tony Kelly in 2013, Joe Canning in 2008, Paudie Maher in 2009, Noel McGrath in 2010 as well who were the same age

Absolutely the most frustrating thing about the day. I could see the sense in it for the first half but when Nash was facing into the breeze to not even try pushing up once was fucking gormless. At some stage you have to back yourself one on one cos the fullback line was behind their men for the long delivery all day long

Stop mate, Coleman has a long way to go to be considered in Corcoranā€™s league.

He was well known you are right. But he was better than Coleman simply. Very similar mentality alright but BC could go thru people too, the one thing MC cannot yet.

Lets not forget this was Munster Championship, completely diluted competition.

Now it suited Cork to make a big deal as it cranks up the support etc.

But its still, for me ;

  1. Tipp
  2. Galway
  3. Cork
  4. Waterford

Neither of the other 2 can win it at this stage tbh.

Not winning Munster after last year should suit Tipp down to the ground. They are the best team
