Magnificent song.
If God’s up there he’s in a cold dark room
The heavenly host are just the cold dark moons
He bent down and made the world in seven days
And ever since he’s been a’walking away
Magnificent song.
If God’s up there he’s in a cold dark room
The heavenly host are just the cold dark moons
He bent down and made the world in seven days
And ever since he’s been a’walking away
Actually I’ve found another that had serious radio play back on the day as well
Bright smile
I’ve gone back n a serious Josh Ritter buzz
I’m trying to chase the origin/story behind an Irish song I heard recently.
It’s called Sanctuary, performed Mary McPartlin, who I believe has since passed away.
Powerful tune, but I don’t know who wrote it, where it came from or how old it is.
Anyone?
Based off a poem by Vincent Woods.
Thanks for that.
