Setanta Sports have announced that James Horan, Declan O’Sullivan, Aaron Kernan and Rory Kavanagh will be the new faces for their NFL coverage.

Great potential there and @Il Bomber Destro will be delighted to see 2 Ulster men involved

Is Senan Connell gone!!! Don’t toy with my emotions like this…

I would like to change my original prediction and predict Monaghan to be relegated with Cork. Think Mayo will really struggle last year as well.

Is Senan not tied up with Rachel on Sky?

Didn’t The Joe Show wipe his eye?

Derry going to be missing a lot of regulars for the league campaign. Three first choice midfielders and first choice full back line are unavailable for now.

I see Donegal named the McHugh brothers for Saturday night’s game. They played extra time in Belfast on Wednesday night in snow so I’m not sure that’s the wisest choice.

Team would most likely have been selected prior to that game. I’d suspect they’ll monitor them then closer to the time, usually the case at this time of year with the mickey mouse colleges competitions.

The game would seem to be in jeopardy in any case.

Would agree with most of that but I think Roscommon will give Div 2 a rattle for promotion. Kildare should come out of it but Down have been hit by a few retirements and it will be between themselves and Roscommon for the second spot.

Div 3 looks the most clear cut but Waterford, led by thoroughly alright sort Tom McGlinchey, will be in the mix for promotion from the bottom tier.

Division 2 will be Kildare and one of Galway, Meath, Down, Roscommon or Cavan. It really is a wide open division.

Down and Cavan haven’t a hope.

Down have a good chance.

LAOIS: Graham Brody; Padraig McMahon, Mark Timmons, Robbie Kehoe; Conor Boyle, Gearoid Hanrahan, Darren Strong; John O’Loughlin, Brendan Quigley; James Finn, Donie Kingston, Billy Sheehan; Ross Munnelly, Evan O’Carroll, Niall Donoher

Quigley is back, Billy rolls on for another year, and Ross is at top of the right, we’ll roll over these cunts

Why, cos they got a couple of lads back from Oz? One of whom is sick.

Don’t cod yourself.

Why? Because they have a new manager and a host of fresh new players. They had a decent McKenna Cup and have a few important players to return from the universities like Mooney and the Johnstone brothers. You go ahead and completely dismiss them without even witnessing them but I won’t and Cavan are also more than capable of putting the results together.

I expect it to be a very close fought division as I don’t see much between the teams in terms of quality.

What the fuck age is Sheehan? Is he not too busy cheerleading for Stacks to be inflicting us with another year of his headless antics?
Fucking hell.

Surely O’Brien is back too?

Its actually a strong side, it really depends on what Dublin have. Costello and Rock seemed to be the forefront last week for them, i think Cork could handle them. Alot depends on who Dublin have fit. I’m starting to sway slightly to Cork now based on circumstances. Still have no faith in management, but lets hope they have learned and have adjusted and prove everyone wrong. McGuire is a very good prospect, but the loss of Kelly for a few games is massive, and for that reason i think the Dubs will have a bit more creativity than Cork and win a close game.
