Monaghan on top at the minute, Mattie Donnelly has wasted an awful lot of ball in the last 15 minutes. Daniel McKenna is starting to cause McCarron some bother.

McCurry has been the star player, winning every ball he gets and using it superbly. Ryan McAnespie and Daniel McKenna have been very impressive for Monaghan.

Mark Lynch has been superb. Generally, after a loose start, they have been very patient and waited for te right pass. They have played a very wide game. This is smart when you are against a more physical team than you. They pull wide and wait for gaps. It’s a pretty basic premise but so many teams fail to do it.
