If it was for a second bookable offence, he shouldnât have shown the black and if it was for a pull down (ie black card) then he shouldnât have shown the yellow, just the black and then red.
Excellent to see a referee make proper use of the black card rule to stamp out a disgustingly cynical team as we have seen here from McGeeneys outfit.

Correct. The outcome was right, his execution of it was wrong.
