Galway’s forwards are really miles better than Mayo’s .

McNulty and McShane were very good for Tyrone today.

Some very soft frees given against Tyrone today.

The lads on Galway local radio were surmising that all is not well among the Mayo backroom staff. Rochford apparently didn’t even look at Tony McEntee as McEntee passed him to go into the tunnel after his “intervention”.

Rightly so, fuckactery from McEntee

Kildare fucked that away

What did McEntee do?

McShane had a great game for Tyrone, my MOTM.

Kildare really struggled from play, very reliant on frees and many of them were fairly suspect.

Ran in off the line and got involved in the original melee.

Outstanding winner from Donnelly

Wasn’t McEntee the one who instructed Keegan to throw the GPS at Rock last year? A right snide Nordy cunt.
Good to see that childish tramp Cillian O’Connor get gate too.

There was a big article in the Times yesterday about Galway snd Mayo’s historic mutual respect for each other. That seems to be gone out the window now.

I was in the stand today, the bile and vitriol among the fans was unreal, great bit of craic.

The way the league has always been, a stage for settling scores ahead/after championship

The Battle of Graiguecullen is the final round of matches. All roads will lead to Netwatch Dr Cullen Park on 25 March.

We’ll fucking mash ye scallionaters. Timmo will be back to lead the village over the border.

Carlows coach was the same last week, constantly getting involved with the Limerick sideline. He’s the same lad Brolly had a pop at a few weeks ago over the stupid names for the drills.

Poacher

Brolly had a few tweets eulogising Poacher and Carlow for playing fearless attacking football when they beat Wexford last year in the championship. He was praising a minnow for playing with ambition and abandon (probably because he saw their wing back break forward to score a goal in the Sunday Game highlights). The truth was Carlow play(ed) 14 men inside their own half for the entire game with Broderick left upfront on his own and they broke forward when they forced mistakes and turned possession over.

Their next game against Dublin was televised and they set up exactly the same way. Couldn’t really blame them for it against Dublin and they got a damage limitation type 8 or 9 point defeat. Brolly was scathing of Poacher and Carlow after it. He was obviously storing that up for a while and picked his moment to go after Poacher with that article ridiculing him for the drills.

Brolly is a weirdo.

Meh, Dublin play with 15 behind the ball practically and get lauded for saving football. Ryan McMenamamamamamain has a great piece with “Woolie” on his podcast this week explaining as much. It’s all about the transition. Basketball innit

Yep, Stevie Poacher apparently has some fantastic transition based drills.
