Joeâs hypocrisy on a range of subjects is hilarious.
His cure for making the GAA less âcorporateâ is to adopt a corporate leadership structure.
His cure for âelitismâ in the GAA is to make it more elitist by introducing a tiered championship.
He moans about âcreeping professionalismâ and yet eulogises the most professional team in GAA history as the model for other to emulate.
A year or two back he was eulogising Tyrone and their system, calling them âan entirely different animalâ than before. One defeat and he can barely go more than one column without vilifying them.
He rants about how the GAA should be an expression of national identity and then vilifies an entire club because some of their members felt they couldnât support the decision of another member to join the newly formed PSNI.
He ridicules âhysterical outrageâ at David Walsh and Donal Og Cusack giving character references for Tom Humphries and then less than a week later engages in exactly the same sort of âhysterical outrageâ at members of the Creggan club because they felt they couldnât support Peadar Heffron in his decision.
He preaches about the rule of law and then acts as judge, jury and executioner for Creggan, accusing club members of planning the murder of Peadar Heffron.
Joe started out having lots of genuinely interesting things to say, but he has run out of them and everything he says now is about promoting Brand Brolly.

Kerin and COC has precious during the AOS mauling. Looks like that was probably ongoing all day. COC is long enough in the tooth not to tolerate that shit in the league. Interesting that DOC had a cut off him shortly after. Be interesting to follow that come Chanpionship.

Wouldnât be in the same intellectual class so itâs not fair to compare really.
I fancy Mayo to go down having looked at the remaining fixtures. They will be without some key players for the remainder of the league, have Dublin up next and a lot of the inexperienced lads donât look near intercounty level, yet anyway.
