Good for clare
Happy enough with Galways display. Pitch was terrible, the hurling was very average and excitement levels were well subdued until the last 15 mins.
We won another game we shouldn’t have won and a few of the younger lads are blooding in nicely.
What did you make of the clare team

Galway should have been 7-10 points up at HT ??? Clare were woeful
Clares game is designed for better pitches than today, so hard to assess them Joe. Pitch shouldn’t have been used as drainage was only completed recently.
Jason Flynn looks a lovely prospect for Galway, one too watch through league and summer ahead
2 very soft penalties for Limerick last night
He’s working like a dog on his game the past 18 months so delighted for him. Despite the few missed frees he has stood up as a leader in both today’s and walsh cup final games. Barring injurys I’d say AC knows 5 of his 6 starting forwards for the summer.
CCooney Glynn Mannion
Flynn Canning ?
Our forwards lack speed of movement though and not sure this is being addressed. Bringing on Kileen in the forwards as a replacement certainly doesn’t inspire confidence.
A shower of cunts
Who was the Galway #19 who ran into the goalmouth and grabbed the goalie’s hurl when Flynn’s match winning free was on its way over? Pretty funny. It may have been Glennon.
Paul Kileen… didnt see it.
That was a great free at the end to win it for Galway, especially with one of the Clare back room team (not Davy) roaring at him from a few yards away. For a finish one of the Galway mentors came over and fucked the heckler away.
I think it was Fergie Mcdonagh …an intercounty ref, as ironic as it can get !
The Clare players are Ok.
Its their manager and supporters you are correctly describing
Wasn’t paying too much heed to the Galway side but McInerney at wing back for them had a fine game while Collins finished strongly beside him, both Glynn and Flynn caused plenty of trouble.
You know McInerny wouldnt be the most skilfull player we have but on sheer work rate alone and with that dogged desire to compete thats bred in him… he might actually be hard to remove from the teamsheet come June.
The food in Paddy Burke’s is still good. Was doing a fine trade this evening
Wouldn’t agree at all re macs performance , this thought he was very raw
Cian Lynch is shit.
Who does he play with ?
