National Hurling League Division 1A, 2013

Very decent looking team tbf.

No galvin , Dillon , McGrath , Honan , tots, cunningham, Cathal McInerney or Peter duggan

How many of those will be around next weekend?

Do you reckon? Ref made the first half look like a camogie match there was so little hitting allowed, when it toughened up in the second Clare were holding on for dear life. They clearly wanted it more and Galway were piss poor. But we didnt seem too pushed about it. Having canning point the second 21 when 3 points down was a clear indication of that. Two Galway forwards that started have no business near that team on that showing and even with all that they threw it away, glennon should have buried the chance and Clare, despite all their good play. This tactic of leaving canning at 11 has to end now. He would have made hay if left at full forward today. Some amount of easy free for Clare in the first half today too.

All available bar Dillon, Cunningham and McGrath . Conlon looked to have picked up an ankle injury

Crisis in KK hurling with 0 points after 2 games. Cody would always like his team to be battling for at least a final place in the league which would now appear unlikely. Perhaps the hunger has started to wane and who could blame anyone on this team for not having the hunger for battle on what was a real winters day but the sight of a Tipp jersey should be enough to to get the fires burning in any member of a KK team which makes the result disappointing. From reports Tommy had one of his better days today but got involved in some silly stuff, however with Wadding in charge today anything was possible really. The man is just not up to reffing inter county games.

Anyone in Dungarvan today? Was it a brutal wind that Waterford gave up an 8 point lead? Great wins for Clare and Tipp. Kerry and Kilkenny to be relegated would be nice for everyone I think we can all agree.

They’ll definitely beat Waterford and Clare, and probably cork (where’s that on?) which would see them make the semis. I might back them to win it out.

Basically Waterford hurled Cork off the pitch in the first half and were doing the same in the second before Cork got a very lucky goal. Waterford missed a raft of goal chances at the end and were far superior over the 70 minutes.

Great sign of a team that plays badly and gets a result. Cork undoubtedly setting the pace and emerging as the most likely Munster champions you would have to say

I’m not sure you truly believe that.

Sad to see lads speaking that ‘yerra yerra’ shite so early in the year.

Waterford after 2 good displays so far albeit in atrocious conditions today, I’d say no team will take them for granted

What’s that about

There cannot be a reasonable explanation for this, surely?

Of course not. Tipp folk are plain odd.

Some 70yr old + nun is doing a parachute jump for charity i think.

Translated, Cork were not bad, some good things some poor hurling. Hard to judge at this time of the year but both sides will need to improve on certain aspects of their game.

Turrene - Note to yourself. If team is far superior it will show in the score board. A big part of being successful is scoring, if you are poor at it then you are not superior to teams you draw with. Idiot.

Very angry Kev, very angry.
