The woke lad in charge of emergency response in Maui has resiged for “health” reasons. He has come in for criticism in the past week for two decisions made in response to the recent tragic fires and loss of life.

In his woke wisdom he decided that (a) water is sacred and refused to release reserves of water to fight the fires, and (b) refused to activate sirens to warn the island population that they were about to be burned to death, on the grounds the sirens might cause panic.

This is what happens when woke wankers like @glasagusban and @Bandage are put in charge of anything of importance.

Yeah it’s pretty bad. Worse than the big flood in 1997 when Wroclaw was submerged. The rain we had since last thursday was biblical. Coming down like stair rods for hours on end.
