Gangs of New York would have been a classic had Cameron Diaz or any female lead not been in it. Day Lewis is exceptional in it.
Goodfellas is fantastic, dwindles after Pesci dies and the drug paranoia stuff was weak too but no movie is perfect really.
Casino- Pesci is even better in this but again a female lead ruins it, even though stone gave a great performance.
Taxi Driver- cool on first viewing. Watched it again recently and itās unmitigated rubbish imo.
Mean Streets- overrated
Raging Bull- good acting but I didnāt enjoy it.

Hard to argue with any of that. I watched GONY recently enough and itās aged alright, Diaz aside.
