Just watching that Sunderland documentary- well you could have knocked me over with a feather when that big gormless chap with the beard and gammy teeth revealed he was a squadie.

Who would have thought it

Thatā€™s good to hear. Next few evenings sorted

Narcos or Narcos Mexico?
Which one to watch first?

Halfway through the first series
To quote Paidi O Se the fans are fucking animals
Lot of anger issue, some of them giving it loads after losing (granted hammered) a per season friendly

Darren Gibson never really delivered on potential

Narcos.

I was disappointed with the Brexit rally. They could have done more with it.

Iā€™d been tipping away at this an episode at a time for a good few weeks now.

Just finished it there. Itā€™s an odd one - I canā€™t quite recommend it, it feels a little strung together at times, but itā€™s different to a lot of the other fare out there. Looked to be building nicely in the last couple of episodes to a decent finale, but the ending was vague as hell, with a lot of plot lines left unanswered.

Iā€™d give it a:
ā€œDunno if there is another series, but if there is, Iā€™m inā€/10

Its fucking shite but watchable if youā€™re into that type of thing shite

Is Ozark any good?

OMG god, Helen

What a fucking scene!

Problem with Netflix is that all of their shows have a 10x1 hour format, which is about twice as long as 99% of them should be.
If they had made Chernobyl, possibly the greatest piece of television ever made, certainly up there, theyā€™d have dragged it out ten hours and ruined it.

Keep watching. Darren Gibson was clearly the beating heart of that team. Itā€™s a shame. Iā€™d add that thatā€™s the impression the programme left. It may just have been editorial.

Ozark is a solid 7.5/10 type show. That has moments that reach 9.

Itā€™s one of those shows where every week they are faced with a problem and where usually on TV it gets fixed, they seem to make it worse in this one. And worse. And worse.

I couldnā€™t get his logic for letting him go so cheap. He might be upset, surely a risk worth taking for a lad scoring goals for fun. It cost them promotion which was worth what? Ā£20m easily surely. And fucking Will Grigg then :joy:

I thought that Sunderland show was shiteā€¦ Only watched 3 episodes season 1ā€¦ Did it take off or something after that?

The odd show that goes up on it that isnā€™t 50 mins - 1 hour per episode is a God send.

I see the lad what done The End of the F**King World has a new one up called I Am Not OK With This, episodes again around 20 mins long. Anyone watched it?

Not really no. The people become more unlikeable. I ended up watching in the hope theyā€™d be relegated.

Ya they got promoted and are fighting it out for the Premier League places this season

Like watching a slow motion car crash

With people you donā€™t like in the car.

I didnā€™t notice that part now but they were certainly framing her throughout as having a bad, lazy attitude and sort of entitlement to the job despite the club being on its arse and losing money hand over fist. That wouldnā€™t surprise me, your man from Oxford and herself detested each other.

The Maja thing was nuts, they were determined to get something from him than let him go in the summer for free, but only got just over a million for him was my reading of it. Whereas Maja was on fire and capable of the guts of 25 league goals which would have fired them to promotion. They lost all those goals for a million and buy Will Grigg for over three million. :grinning:
