Too hot to handle, I dunno why i’m watching it probably because of the flaking women on show(one from Cork) I normally hate all that love island type shite but these are strange times.
First episode on Monday I think.
Does Monday mean 3 minutes time?
How many episodes they putting on for this Jordan doc?
Think it might only be the first. On the Netflix app it says new episode on Monday. ESPN are showing it as well so that might explain why it won’t all be available at once.
I’d watch it but I wouldnt listen to it !
Watched the first two episodes of Michael Jordan doc on Netflix
Would not be a basketball fan by any stretch of the imagination but found it interesting
It’s very good so far
Twas very good. Some amount of egos in it. Scotty seems a thoroughly alright sort though.
Too hot to handle is a great watch
Cracking season finale to Better Call Saul. Sets up the last season wonderfully.
Lalo
Do you have to have watched breaking bad to know what’s going on?
Not really, but it would help.
I’d watch BB first before going onto BCS.
The full season has dropped now I presume ya? I’ve put BCS on hold so I can binge on the last few episodes.
Yeah, all 10 episodes of season 5 are up there now. Read somewhere that there are due to be 13 episodes in the final season, with a planned release date of February 2021 but Covid-19 could perhaps now lead to a delay.
Being honest I think it’s better they show one episode a week, rather than making them available all at once, it helps build the suspense. For Ozark I finished the whole season in a day and a half.
Mike, Nacho, Lalo, Gus and Hector are all great characters. As are Jimmy and Kim obviously.
No, if anything watching BCS would be a bigger advantage when watching BB as it is set before BB and gives an insight as to how characters like Saul, Mike and Gustavo became the men they are. BCS works fine on its own, you might miss a couple of subtle nods to BB but nothing that would be hugely important to the plot.
Was an anticlimax compared to the last two episodes, but looking forward to another season, whenver that will be…
Like you, I’m not a basketball fan and would know little about Jordan other than his status as the greatest (one of) basketball player of all time.
It’s very well produced and gives a good background to the man and his will to win. American sports I find very boring and devoid of real skill - mainly focusing just on sheer athleticism - and pretty much niche sports in that the likes of baseball, NFL, ice hockey etc have little appeal outside of America and certainly none in Europe.
Basketball is a little different in that it certainly has the most appeal of American sports in Europe and further afield and is generally a global game.
The athleticism of Jordan and some of these guys is off the chain, definitely a lot more skillful and technical than I might have previously given it credit for also.
Looking forward to the rest of it.
Id say NFL is most popular.
Probably but the NFL is a big steaming pile of contrived shit. It doesn’t really come across as a real sport.
