Or Chick-a-go

The bit where the French TV technician asks for mj’s autograph only to be stared at incredulously, and then have Smithers jump in and refuse was as cringeworthy a thing as I’ve seen since the office. Showed what a bubble the bulls were in.
MJ I suspect, like Roy Keane, just isn’t wired up happy.

That’s a great comparison.

There’s always a lot made about how sportsmen, footballers in this part of the world usually, come from hardship but very very few top sportsmen come from really rough backgrounds. Most have one good parent at least if not really stable supportive families. Almost impossible otherwise.

Yes and no, post his time playing under Clough I wouldn’t have Keane near the same stratosphere as MJ but there’s definitely mutual personality traits there alright

Ah yeah, that’s what I meant. Grew up watching that bulls team.

Would you be big into basketball Fenway ?

Baseball number 1 and then basketball. Basketball players are phenomenal athletes.

They are the supreme athletes in all of sport and along with hurling, the most skilled too

Funny they are the two sports I never had any interest in.

Why did MJ have the bloodshot eyes? Is it because of the lockdown I wonder

It saddened me somewhat.

Is he a big drinker? He said in it he didn’t drink while he was a player.

He didn’t drink when he came into the league first but he’s had well advertised alcohol problems over the years,
His eyes have been subject of a lot of comment in recent years but it’s never been answered I think

I don’t know if he’s a big drinker but you can see him drinking his own tequila brand and smoking fat cigars the whole time doing the interview. He was a big gambler that’s well known, don’t know if he still is or if the series will delve much into that side of things. Not much I’d say

He was a massive gambler too.

There’s a conspiracy theory out theee that he was actually banned from the league when he took two years off to play baseball
