Netflix

It was brilliant Cloughie was never the same once Taylor departed, that said he was one of a kind a true legend.

Started it but mehhhhhhh
Had a gander at 1983 so far so good

No, he wasn’t. Ironic that they fell out over John Robertson. They never spoke again before Taylor died in 1990. Cloughie regretted that greatly. I hope they’re having great chats now in the City Ground in the sky.

Hey leave Emmerdale alone FFS

I’ve a binge coming up as it winds down here

I’m honestly surprised that so many of the soaps are still going, I thought streaming services would have killed most of them off by now.

I’m watching Emmerdale for 42/3 years love it - escape from reality, couldn’t stomach fair city, east Enders etc- pure muck

Think soaps are familiar so will roll onšŸ¤žWe’ve prime, Netflix Disney plus but always revert back to the old reliables

Great branch I believe, good pal of mine a regular attendee at weekend bashes

Soaps are watched by the older crowd also, that wouldn’t be bothered with streaming boxes and the like.

Just watched Echo in The Canyon there. Good show.

7 prisoners is a good film …

Netflix have added some great stuff the last few months. Squid games was unreal but there’s another Korean series, hellbound, that has actually surpassed Squid games record breaking viewing figures. I’ve watched a few episodes and it’s ok but squid games much better on what I’ve seen so far. Also the power of the dog is a fine movie.

Watched 14 Peaks there. Underwhelming enough

Yeah, it’s impossible to sell to someone, it’s a real hipsters choice. The intensity of season 2 is off the charts, pure art. I have the whole lot on Blu Ray and watch it every year or so, incredible show. So good that despite the bad viewership HBO granted a third season just to round off the story

Out of context but this scene is top tier,

I loved that as a show it didn’t really try to explain what had happened. Just the various ways people coped or didn’t cope with it.
Most of these shows they try to wrap it all up and it’s about finding out what happened etc and the main characters and storylines are about that search for solutions.
But its just like. Mad shit happened. No one can makes sense of it. Everyone’s fucked up
