Azzurri is just awful, awful design, awful quality. O’Neill’s have it wrapped up and for good reason, good quality, good design, its not rocket science really.

Azzuri apparently never had the capital to break the o neills stranglehold.
A quality product would have helped
They produced utter tat ffs. They may have been able to buy off some of the more desolate Muldoon counties in a shitty attempt to break into the market, but they were never going to get the Dublin gig.
O neills had both the quality and the dosh. That was azzurri s problem by all accounts. Apparently o neills have some remarkably good deals with the counties.
Doubt they even tried. They could have ran a decent show at Club level with a decent product but it was just awful tack

I priced a set of Jerseys this year off them & they were dearer than O’Neill’s. When this was pointed out to them, i was told jog on. Cunts.
O Neills are utter cunts to deal with if you are not The Barr’s or Nemo or whoever. Azzuri’s issue also was they were making the jerseys somewhere a lot more expensive than Indonesia or wherever O Neills are getting theirs done
Them Indonesian fellas can sure make a good product then because Azzurris is piss poor In comparison. I’ve always had great dealings with O’Neills.

Was it? I know that’s where they were based, but was the gear made there? I was involved with a college team one year and I got a call from a rep (a DLS hurler) that my gear was ready, we were already out of league and championship! 5 months later.
Well fair play, at least it was giving jobs to Ireland and genuinely irish. O’ Neills are a joke saying they are irish. The GAA also are a sham with their rule on non-Irish products (which is against EU regulations) is a bit farcical when all O Neills do is label them in Ireland.
