New jersey in GAA

Jerseys and shorts made in their Waterford factory. Some embroider of stock items done too. To be fair I thought their heavy jackets were good. Nice and warm while also being waterproof. Durable too. Pity bout everything else. I think O’Neills make some jerseys over here.

As in UK? Or are you home?

Maybe county jerseys or something (as in actual playing gear). But I do know the lads in the club I played with in Perth thought they got it far quicker than at home. New design, sponsors the whole lot. So I’m not really sure what the go is.

The design is the main issue, O Neills far far better. The material would work well in pure 2 tone jerseys. Their policy was the be different it seems when instead had they gone real plain it may have worked far better.

Shorts and socks are rank.

No, the Azzurri gear is just terrible in all facets, design and durability being worst. Jerseys tore at smallest grab and the track suit bottoms were the worst I ever encountered.

we had a set of the azzuri jerseys once, and on the first wash, all the colours ran and ended up with a lovely pink version and then when they were folded, all the writing merged into the white part too. disaster of a set up. some of the tracksuit tops they had werent bad though. they tried hard to break in, but with a shit product and design, they were at nothing.

Sorry I meant Ireland. Well the north. I know they’ve just opened an office in the UK an are trying hard to break into the schools/rugby/universities market. The University market is massive, worth tens of thousands a year per uni. They’ve been poaching reps from other companies or at least trying to in order to get their foot in. My mate has been tapped up a number of times but he has it too good at the min to even think of moving. O’Neills have been put out big time by Kukri getting a GAA license.

I’d say your tracksuit bottoms got a fair bit of use

They do actually, I would wear them to and from training, occasionally I might put them on when pottering about the house, I’ve even been known to wear them when going doing the grocery shopping. Not the Azzurri ones though, I dumped them after one or two wears.

The O’Neills ones are quite good, but prefer the canterburys these days. Adidas aren’t bad once they’re not the Dayglo ones you see the knacks with, not so much a fan of the Nikes.

Take the dig in the mean spirit it was intended.

A shocking post on every level.

My sources tell me he still goes around Portlaoise in his Laois Minor tracksuit

There was a lad who I went to school with who wore his East Clare under 15 development squad v neck jumper in place of his school jumper all the way up to leaving cert

Have we agreed on which TFK member has ordered the most gear for their club yet and who’s held the most senior officer position within their club? A lot of posturing going on here.

I’d say I can try up my game but let’s be honest, thats unlikely at this stage of the game.

Limerick home one is poor.
I like the blue/black one

Does anyone like any of these jerseys. Gimmicky, garish and in crappy shiny materials. What sort of retards do O’Neills employ or is this of genuine appeal to the common GAA man?
