Everyone should do it. I learned more valuable career skills behind the bar than you would in 10 years in college. I could count on one hand the bad nights I had behind the bar.

Plus, there is no better way to meet women.

Any decent bar is 1k a night I was told last month in DC. But you only get 3 shifts a week.

I don’t know I was in DC a few years ago and myself and my mate spent a few hours one evening drinking all the strong beers on draught in this German bar. There were very few people in the bar and the barman was rubbing his hands in glee at the size of the tip he’d be getting off us and such was his confidence he even said at the start that the first two pints were on him We were so pissed we mistakingly forgot to pay the bill at the end and to your man’s horror he had to run down the stairs after us. It was an honest mistake and we settled up the bill straight away but I’d say we were the last two Mick’s he gave free pints to.

Heading over 27th November-2nd December. How much roughly would I be looking at needing? 1500-1800? Flights and accommodation in Empire hotel were 900 which seemed good to me.

Depends what you doing really, but money does seem to just evaporate in the place. You’d spend $100 in the blink of an eye. You won’t regret it though.
