It is quite the precedent to set on Robbie Keane by Celtic supporters.
We have had quite a few extraordinary precedents from the Glasgow Celtic support of late. Not least the storming of the pitch against Heart of Midlothian on the last day of the season forcing the referee to blow up early and abandon the match.
The lunatics have taken over the asylum and well you know it Poundage. You just haven’t the stones to call it out .
Desmond needs to get out before the Celtic fans do to him what they did to other Irish lads involved with Celtic . Hopefully Kenny escapes like Idah did from the vile scum.

MON still not formally announced, even though Celtic briefed the media last Friday it would be him. Presumably done to stop the rancour around Keane possibly being appointed. But there were message board rumours the announcement delay was due to the board lowballing the backroom staff. Stephen McGowan in The Herald in Scotland is reporting this morning that the Celtic board have yet to agree terms with Maloney & Fotheringham & the sides are some distance apart. It’s actually staggering how inept the board are & how they fail to learn lessons. They managed to get away with a staggering amount of self-sabotage by the skin of their teeth last season - thanks to MON & his staff - but not a hint of them changing their ways. A huge rebuild is expected with massive squad turnover & they’re haggling with the backroom staff nearly 3 weeks after the cup final.

I’m assuming MON wouldn’t have given the nod for the official confirmation without his backroom team being sorted, even though they’re not mentioned in the announcement spiel.

There’s no such thing as a good manager. You’re only good until you’re shite. The sooner everyone realises this it will save clubs a lot of money. There’s shite managers and sometimes a fella can do a good job for a year or two but that’s it.
