Next Celtic Manager

Scott Parker

Ah there is but they’ve way less of a role in it then is made out. Recruitment is key. Looking at Amorim, others and their ability or inability to manage players, a lot of the nineties and noughties players are simpletons.

Primarily it’s about the quality of player. As you’ll see with the Waterford hurlers next year, people build bullshit up to be significant when really it’s just the intrinsic ability of the players. If they players are shit, it doesn’t matter whether they buy in or not.

Relatively yes, there is no one as they’re probably the two best ever.

Rangers need a Rangers man as manager. Anybody who thinks McInnes would not be a good appointment is away with the fairies.

If you want a proper Rangers man you go to the source - Heart Of Midlothian.

Culturally, yes they do. As players will use any excuse, especially the kind of horrible fuckers that sign for Rangers

Looking at the great ball Scott Sinclair played at Celtic, imagine what he would have turned in at Ibrox.

Barry Ferguson and his team of STAUNCH Rangers men had Rangers playing serious football in the latter part of last season.

They were daft to not appoint him permanently.

You go Barry Ferguson with a lad to coach the team. Ferguson was actually a really good player that came down when the lifestyle had kicked in and still did fine when he was fit.

O’Neill and Maloney is a great set up. Maloney coaching like a demon with O’Neill observing and picking the team. I’d love Maloney and O’Neill combo for Ireland after the Dentist. There’s unfinished business there

He would definitely suit the general/collective mindset of their support. Just that pure ignorance & bile & entitlement. I’m not saying Russell Martin is a good manager, far from it, but their support wasn’t having him when they heard he was a vegan. They’ve that anti-intellectualism coursing through the support. McInnes would tap into “we arra peepil” vibe alright.

Russell Martin is an absolute fraud at the same time. The Twitter tacticos explained to me how but I can’t remember.

Yeah he’s shit. Glasgow is nuts though, I don’t think the intensity of the place is appreciated by people outside The League of Scotland bubble. Rohl was meant to be this seriously impressive footballing mind, destined for the very top & the huns getting him was heralded as an absolute coup by serious football journalist/commentator types like Johnathan Northcroft, Derek Rae & several others…yet he’s been chewed up & spat out by 74-year old Martin O’Neill.

Cultural fit is everything at every club and every team.

Cultural fit is why a Kildare man can’t manage Kildare. Kildare players believe a Kildare manager is small time. They need a foreigner.

Rangers need a STAUNCH man. They need a Graeme or a Walter or an Alec or a Derek. Gerrard succeeded because he was Steven Gerrard.

Celtic v Rangers is always at its best when its a managerial battle of a DEVOUT Celtic man (a Catholic Fenian is devout) versus a STAUNCH Rangers man (a Protestant is staunch).

McNeill v Greig
McNeill v Souness
Burns v Smith
O’Neill v McLeish
Lennon v Smith

Five months ago it was Nancy v Rohl. Now it’s O’Neill v McInnes. Semtex.

True, but I will say this; who is the exceptional talent in the Kildare footballers the last 15 years? Daniel Flynn I’d say if I have his name right. To win things, you need some raw material. They’ve had some nice players but that’s it.

Billy McNeill and Walter Smith did briefly overlap as the respective managers of Celtic and Rangers but I don’t believe they ever managed against each other, in any match never mind a Celtic v Rangers match.

I’d have trained them to win the SPL with Philip Albertz, Lorenzo Amoroso, Marco Negro and the Chinese Dutch lad. I’d also have kept Brian Laudrup around after his treatment

Like lads in the early 90’s saying the Dubs would be better with 15 lads off Hill 16 to win an All Ireland.

Jorg Albertz. He was some signing for them.

Some slap of a ball and celebration

Do we really need to go here?

Rangers tried to beat Celtic’s record of 10 in a row and ended up liquidated.

They won one league with help of (do I really need to go here) to stop Celtic doing another 10 in a row.

I don’t blame @Rocko for backing the board and I don’t blame @Bandage for backing @Rocko backing the board.

My Tyrone friend consistently argued against Lennon and he was banned from the board.

I know it was because of big hands not Neil.
