But Celtic have European football every year and by right should have CL football.

We have been cuckolded by a greedy suit.

Jock Brown was some Hun

He played 91 of Brighton’s 114 EPL matches in the past three season.

Think you ought to get your facts straight.

Roberto Martinez is managing a golden generation of Belgian internationals. It would be bizarre for him to sacrifice that for an SPL title race where Rangers are already too far ahead unfortunately.

Rafa would be a fine appointment. La Liga and Champions League winner. He’s also shown that he stands up to challenging boardrooms and was adored by fans at Liverpool and Newcastle. The knowledgeable Celtic support would build a great rapport with Rafa.

If Eddie Howe is willing to go to Celtic they should go all out for him, it’ll give him a chance to rebuild his reputation and get his confidence back up with the view of taking over a championship high flyer or a premier league basement boy in a few years time 🥸

Why would it be bizarre, the golden generation are all past their best now.

Kompany gone, Vertonthen and Alderweireld finished.
Mertens in his 30s. Hazard and De Bruyne in their 30s for the world cup.

They’re done, Belgium peaked and are now in decline. That fool Wilmots fucked it up.

Obviously Martinez would take over after the Euros

Eddie Howe is a good coach. Taking a club from the bottom of the 4th tier up to top division is a fine achievement. A modern day John Toshack.

Jaysus Edouard could triple his money handy elsewhere.

Andre Villas Boas for me if Steve Kean is unwilling to walk away from his gig in Australia

The World Cup is less than 2 years away. He’d surely stay for that too assuming the Euro’s go well.

Besides Rafa Benitez has achieved far more in his career than Roberto Martinez. Martinez might encourage a better brand of football but Rafa would be more tactically astute in European competition.

I don’t see it. Belgium’s peak was the Euro 2016 where they bottled it against the Welsh.

Martinez and Maloney.

The deal was done ages ago. They didn’t want to bring in a caretaker to the end of the season. The season is all but over now.

Belgium’s peak was clearly the last World Cup. Losing out to the eventual winners after knocking out Brazil

are you worried about the 9 day turnaround? losing to lincoln red imps could be a bad start

No

It was Euro 2016. The best squad by a distance, look at the age profile of all their key men back then.

Lots of those players were in their 30s and in decline two years later.

Criminal underperformance from Martinez. Superb players and they were shit. Martinez out.
