Next Celtic Manager

Has proven he can win Mickey Mouse leagues that he’s expected to win. Absolutely perfect for Celtic

If the rat was still there Trusty would have spent the last two weeks on the bench!!

And Maeda would be plodding up and down the middle.

Maeda plundered all those goals after Christmas last season when playing upfront, & his goal yesterday came when he moved from wide to through the middle after Kenny went off. It’s more that Kyogo & then Kuhn weren’t replaced & this has resulted in him constantly moving between the flanks & upfront. And also that he wanted to leave & thought that request would be accommodated.

Fair point on Trusty though. Rodgers bombed him out fairly harshly compared to others. He had that particularly weak game in the 3-3 at Dundee last January when cameras picked up Rodgers mouthing “weak as shit” after he was shoved around for one of the goals. But CCV & Scales also threw in several below par games & weren’t really jettisoned that easily (same for players in other positions). He was injured late in pre-season & was only just back in squads after that plantar fasciitis issue when Rodgers left. I do sense that Rodgers was going with Dane Murray ahead of him though, but Trusty looks to have come back in with a good attitude & has played well.

Maeda looked rejuvenated when his primary position wasn’t centre forward. He simply isn’t best used there. He switches around a bit, but he’s at his most damaging marauding out wide and moving inside appropriately.
Edit, fair enough BR was left with nobody much else he felt, but who’s fault that was remains open to debate.
I just hope he doesn’t go to Leeds.

Wilfred Nancy gone odds on

He’s like a less experienced Deila. :astonished:

I see Tisdale has a prior working relationship with his assistant.

I still think it’s doubtful that Desmond would rubber stamp him.

The treatment of Liam Scales by the rat after the rangers game was deplorable. I presume Trusty was treated equally as bad.

It’s great to see him do so well. Shows the rat up for what he is.

Scales looks a lot better without CCV beside him honestly.

Surely not. I’ll have to admit I’ve never heard of him but is it the lad who is currently managing some crowd that sound like a boy band out in the boonies?

Wilfried Nancy

This fella has never managed outside of the MLS. His team didn’t pull up any trees in the MLS this year, finishing in 7th place in their conference (there are two regional conferences of equal standing) and they were knocked in the round of 16 in the play-offs at the weekend.

Surely Celtic can do better than this.

I’d suggest Martin O’Neill.

Cheap.
We’ll see.
I’d honestly never heard of him.
But I’d never heard of Ange either.
Still, Ange had a better record.

I don’t see anything to suggest an appointment is imminent. What are you bhoys seeing?

He was probably inculcating his philosophy mate. They had to suffer.

Desmond will aim for someone who’ll toe the line, after the last manager’s actions sullying his rep amongst the faithful. Ego has to be protected at all costs.

Nancyball looks imminent now

I’m all in on Nancy.

Why so?
