Next Republic of Ireland Manager

Can we agree that all of TFK will back the new manager for the first few matches at least?

Could McCoist unite the two teams of the island?

You know what. It wouldn’t be the worst suggestion. He’d probably get us playing a good counter attacking game which would suit. Particularly when you consider that our ranking is now lower so we’d be playing more top nations in qualifying. The experience of managing in the high pressure cooker of Man United would make the Ireland job seem like a walk in the park for him.

Cork City and Northern Ireland?

Coisty could solve the war in Gaza, nevermind the sectarian divide of Éire.

Think he’s close enough friends with John o shea still. He’d Roy Keane over to his kids club recently too and isn’t your man Kieran McKenna from Fermanagh? He promoted him at man United.

I’d say he’d be attainable.

He’s two years out of the United job now so he’d nearly have to take it if he’s offered.

Is there a word equivalent to “Footix” to describe somebody who wants either a League of Ireland chump or a foreign flavour of the month type?

Somebody who dismisses a Champions League winner as “laughably bad”?

He was 100% right about Arter

Forests results under Hughton were worse than Irelands under Kenny. And the football was even more dismal

His issue with Walters went back to his time with Ipswich.

Walters wanted out when Keane arrived.

There was some story of Walters ringing in sick to training and Keane asking him to send on pictures of his vomit as proof.

Keane seemed to take the hump with him anyway from early on and that was him done.

It has to be said that it appears Brighton’s sucess is down to the club set up and structures in place rather than anything Hughton did

Like Limerick.

Like in Kilkenny, Dempsey was the key man

Agree 100%
He got no credit and probably won’t

Roy Keane should never manage again, he is a terrible manager and a terrible person , he has no friends, why is that? because he is a cunt

That’s sounds like doing it privately

I think ole Gunnar solskjaer is the best suggestion.

Neil Lennon had an ok Celtic record in European games in the first spell didn’t he?

It was on the training field in front of the entire squad.

I wonder how long it will take for us to turn on the new guy.
