Didn’t Kinger do a brief stint as interim/caretaker senior manager? Was it after Trap & before O’Neill? Think we lost 3-0 or something away to Germany & his team selection was fairly novel. There might have been a home game in a double header too but he set up completely to spoil with centre midfielders playing wide & stuff in Germany. I’ve vague recollection of Dunphy being absolutely scathing of him & that gimp Tony O’Donoghue putting it to him in the post match interview…”Eamon Dunphy back in studio was saying…” Kinger was having none of it.
