He made a small fortune off that sale and got to play for the biggest club in the world.

Career wise I mean; though he didn’t stick anywhere so likely wouldn’t have stuck around there either.
If you lined him up vs Henry in 1999 then you were predicting a better career for Anelka.
Hell of a list of honours though. I’d say he’ll be happy enough with his lot and would stack it against his peers pretty well. Henry will be more loved at Arsenal alright.
Anelka always struck me as a lazy git who didn’t seem that bothered.
