He’s done a tremendous job adjusting people’s expectations. From 1 case in Seattle that was contained to 2.2 million dead in 3 weeks, but we can manage it to 100,000 if we stay strong.

Exactly . . . this is what I tell people when they ask me “how the f*** did Trump get elected” . . . the Democrats ran the worst possible candidate in 2016 and she only had one message (Vote for me, I’m not Trump) – she had no other message and she got cocky and did not spend enough time canvassing in states that were on the bubble of going Democrat or Republican . . . . now in 2020 they are left with two men in their late 70s, one who is a self-avowed socialist (will not fly in the US) and another who may be showing the early signs of dementia (Ok, maybe that’s a bit harsh – but he’s a weak candidate) . . . it’s shocking that out of a country that produced Lincoln, FDR, and a few more great presidents that these (plus Trump) are the choices in 2020.
Yeah pretty sad. No Republican is brave enough to take on Trump, afraid of his base. Biden could be a disaster if things recover and he has to debate Trump, but if things gets worse Bernie would be better in this new climate. So hard to make a case for Biden. Hard to call overall, lots of Democrats proposing Cuomo, who would be a very good candidate but has to appeal to the swing states, not just the coastal liberal elites. Interesting 2020 ahead.
