They bottomed out in the last months of 2005 - shortly after Keane left they beat Liverpool in the last minute - that game signalled the start of a big upward curve

He doesn’t disagree with being let go (if you take him at his word). He disagrees with the manner of it.

They won 3 premier league, a couple of FA cups and a European cup in his last 5 seasons there mate

Ferguson ruthlessly treated anyone he thought was finished or were damaging the club.

His yarn about trying to get Matty Taylor up to Sunderland was brilliant.

That’s all I’ve heard, I’ve read a few other bits, he delivers the story very well, excellent comic timing

The black and white stripes worn by Juventus were copied from Notts County’s strip. Juve originally played in pink but the colours always faded in the wash.

Fergie was great at moving people on. He rarely kept a striker once they reached thirty.

That coming from a fella with a square head living in a tower block with a broken lift

Et tu Noelie?

Go back to your swan pie there

The real insult for keane was that Ferguson sacked him to doing what Ferguson egged him on to do for the previous 5 years . The point came where he outlived that use as his decline as a player meant his words carried little truck .

That particular relationship was always going to end sour

Keane called fergie out for falling out with jp McManus and John magnier. That’s what ended the relationship. Fergie didn’t have a leg to stand on here and he knew it.
