Official All Ireland Minor and U20 Hurling & Football Thread (Part 1)

Cork, typically, failed to score a point from play.

Bad weekend, but we’ll be back.

Congratulation to the Cork Minor Ladies footballers who the All-Ireland today by defeating Dublin. Puts a finger in dyke after a disastrous flood of results for the county.

Arrabawn results:

Kilkenny beat Laois by a point.
Waterford then thumped Laois 4-12 to 1-6

Limerick hammered Antrim 6-17 to 0-6
Limerick play Offaly next. Offaly beat Antrim 1-14 to 0-12

From AFR:

Limerick lost to Clare in the Tony Forrestal. Can’t remember the score from the text I got but it was by about 5 or 6 points.

Tipp got a late goal to beat Wexford (think it was 3-5 to 2-7) and Waterford and KK drew in the Tony Forristal 1-6 to 0-9.

Limerick up 1-3 to 0-3 v Offaly HT
Waterford up 1-5 to 0-3

Good win for Clare. Offaly aren’t supposed to be up to much which means they’ll probably be in the semi-final now. Think they’re likely to be playing Cork then who apparently have an outstanding team.

Limerick and Offaly draw 1-8 each.
Limerick go on to meet Waterford in the semis

Limerick beat Dublin at U-17 level by a few points.

Arrabawn Semi Finals

Limerick V Waterford
Cork V Tipperary

Waterford 1-18 Limerick 0-8
Cork 2-9 Tipp 0-4

Clare lost the Forrestal semi final to Cork by 4 points

Time & venue for Arrabawn final ?

Semple tomorrow, 12:30 (I think)

Good goal for Dublin? Should have had a second there - or a point at least.

Some deranged ballwatching from the Galway lads made it happen. Some shocking finishing since from both sides, Dublin could be out of sight. Galway need a score to settle

Conor Rabbitte

Nice start to the 2nd half for the young Galway lads

Sensational start.Galway failing to put away chances now though.
