Official All Ireland Minor and U20 Hurling & Football Thread (Part 1)

His decision making is top notch. He is very young. He has another couple of years at this level.

Not sure about Hayes but think he is a nephew of ger cunningham.

Cahalane is a phenomenal talent imho. Did not go great today but he has ‘it’.

If Cork had lost that today you lads might have given up altogether.

Its only sport but a defeat for that team would hurt. We all need some hope and something to look forward to.

That’s a super Cork side and with losses in recent years it would have been an awful loss to an average Limerick side. Hopefully they go on and deliver now.

A lad in Thailand pontificating about Cork hurling. Laughable.

Fair play to cork. That was a proper match and they won it out. Number 14 is a potential superstar

Was unbelievable in county final for Blackrock

He is excellent, very light but has bags
of it. I really likes Barrett, direct and very efficient. The real test will be Tipperary and today’s performance won’t be enough. A half fit Cathal O’Neill put on an exhibition of ball striking, he is ready for senior hurling, the work rate needs improve a little.

A right bit of stuff

Westmeath leading Dublin by 2 points at the first water break in Mullingar. They have a solid enough breeze with them

Dublin down to 14 just before half time. Looked harsh, mistimed shoulder. Westmeath leading 1 close to h/t
1-3 to 5 - the pitch is a bog

Any chance the Cork U-20s game will end up on TG4’s website?

Usually they are… Think it might be 24 hours

1-8 a piece at the second water break. 1-8 to 1-8

O’Dulaing from Commerials with Dublin’s goal and has been the standout forward. The two Dublin wing backs have gifted Westmeath a number of scores

Westmeath 2 up. Heading into injury time.

Westmeath win by three. Fully merited, Dublin tried to play a style of summer hurling on a bog in winter. Heaps of missed frees, bad wides, goals missed etc.

Split Westmeath in two.

Hes worse than Ewan pontificating from his bolthole in Portugal. (Hi Ewan)
