Official All Ireland Minor and U20 Hurling & Football Thread (Part 1)

Why do we have to switch all our players around? Complete dominance, just not leave them there! Manager trying to justify his own existence.

Shame Limerick didnā€™t beat them by 20 more.

You are some wankstain, no wonder you were ran outta cark.

Congrats limerick btw

Joe McKennaā€™s input should not be marginalised. A hugely respected man in Limerick hurling circles.

Well said, he has put in huge work and should be acknowledged for same.

How many ā€œabove averageā€ Galway minor teams have we ā€œheardā€ about over the years?

Hon Limerick, finish the job now. Mattie must feel like a right gobshite this evening.

Only you can answer that Mac. Agree re your other 2 points

Did Wexford seriously block Galway coming into Leinster minor? Madness.

Big Joe Mac is a sound skin and isnā€™t one who seeks recognition.

That said, heā€™s been getting a weekly rim-job on the back page of a certain local publication for the last year or so.

Not just Wexford alone in fairness. Kilkenny, Dublin, Offaly and Laois opposed it also, at both minor and U21 level.

Whatever about the rimming, I would hate to see him marginalised by the inevitable shit spouting agendas of some Limerick heads on here.

After the results of the past two years Iā€™d be on for fucking them out of the Senior also :frowning:

No fear of that happening. Itā€™s reckoned here that Joe picks the team and lets Ryan pick the subs!

Donā€™t blame us bluebell, if only ye had beaten Antrim youā€™d have had a handiest of routes to a Leinster Final in history.

Madness, fucking madness

Agreed. What was equally criminal was the exclusion of Antrim also. If theyā€™re ever to have a chance to develop, they need to be playing regular games in a provincial underage championship.

Thats what hurts the most I think :frowning:

The backpage man is some spoofer. The foundations are in place for success now with Ard Scoil, Castletroy college etc. Itā€™s a pity my old stomping ground on Sexton Street completly gave up on the game in favour of soccer.[/QUOTE]

Thatā€™s a super Limerick team and they deserve an All Ireland. I think they last won an All Ireland in 1984 with Pa Carey like a strolling maestro at full back. They were lathering Kilkenny in the final in Thurles when they started showboating and a chap called Tommy Lannon from Thomastown (or Bennetsbridge, same difference) dragged Kilkenny back into it single handed. Kilkenny went a point ahead but Limerick got a last minute point from Brian Stapleton to draw.

The form line here is dangerous for Limerick. Waterford are the only team who could live with Limerick this year, but Kilkenny bested Waterford well in the end. Kilkenny were shit at the start of the year and have improved game on game. If Limerick start believing the hype they could get turned over here.
