Official All Ireland Minor and U20 Hurling & Football Thread (Part 2)

Ya have it in for him. Did he spit in your cornflakes?

Do many lads go around spitting in cornflakes?

The blue boy doesn’t spare a good few managers - Andy mcentee , mcgeeney, poacher, have regularly felt the wrath of the Laois man on here .

The blue boy band have great time for John kiely

Kiely is some man to be able to coral them fellas and make the Gaelic football coach feel important. Davy couldn’t manage it

I would certainly put McGeeney, Poacher and McEntee in the same category though.

You couldn’t train ivy to run up a wall .

Tbf the lads have proven they can’t either

Only the 7 county minors for Kilcormac Killoughey! - they are churning out some talent. Fletcher no 11 is a serious bit of stuff.

Screeney the younger in the subs. He tore it up in the schools hurling a few weeks ago against Rathdowney or Mountrath I think.

I presume he is a son of the Tipp man coaching up here, and who coaches the K/K minors as well? If the son has the size to play centre forward he must have got it from the mother.

Yep correct - a son of Trevor. I presume Liam England on the management team is Roscrea Liam.

I presume no 15 is a relation of Kevin? Did the Whelehans, Pilkingtons, Dooleys, Troy’s produce no male issue?

Joe Dooley’s son Shane was a very good hurler for a number of years for Offaly.

There was a new generation of Pilkingtons and Whelahan’s that have hurled for Birr in recent years - decent hurlers but not in the same standard as the 80/90s generation

Brian has a son called Aaron who played a bit with Birr, I think they are focusing on the grandson now.

Big daithi Regan had a young lad on the fringes of provincial rugby team a few years ago , Ulster i think
