Official All Ireland Minor and U20 Hurling & Football Thread (Part 2)

I love going to Parnell Park, delighted to be playing Dubs there in 2 weeks. Great venue, nice and tight… the Dubs will be very confident but we’ll win it.

Long overdue a victory v Dublin.

Don’t know. I think Hollystown will be done before it

Do they even own it yet? Astro and pub still going strong.

Own it alright but seems on hold as usual NIMBY objections need to be overcome

One of the great venues . The dubs done the GAA some service agreeing to forego it for croker .

He sounds very like the lad I marked in my last game of football.

Was he 12 at the time?

Quilty still churning them out

He looked it. Iirc he scored 4-4.
In the first half.
I was moved somewhere less damaging at half time.

The Ryan quota is filled but ne’er a Maher to be seen. It won’t do

Where is the lad that played full forward for Flannans

Can’t make the match day 24 - it is a very deep squad. Only one minor from last years side which lost the A/I semi final to Kilkenny is on the match day panel and he was a sub for the minors.

Three lads starting who couldn’t make the minor squad two years ago and played Celtic challenge. A lot of good hurlers not in the 24

Like the bench?

Wasn’t some bullshitter here claiming that those on the senior panel had been pulled by the management?

The Tipperary senior panelists inclusion in the U20 team shows how weak Cahill is at this stage.
A lame duck manager with one foot out the door.

U20 is their best chance at a bit of silverware

Not the way Cummins has them play the game.

Corner forward. Same thing really.
I actually instigated the move by informing the banaisteoir at half time that there was no way I was marking that little fcucker in the second half. The banaisteoir suggested I just get a hold of his jersey. I explained that I couldn’t get close enough.
