Official All Ireland Minor and U20 Hurling & Football Thread (Part 2)

The Cork number 15 looked kind bollixed with that knee for a while before hooked

If they were there all day they wouldn’t score one

2 lads from Ballyduff hurling stronghold on the pitch know

Evan Boyle may not even be 18 yet but is a special one

His father Liam Jap Boyle was a dual kerry minor and under 21 and played senior hurling for kerry for guts of 15 years

looks that way alright, created a good few goal chances

Those last 3 attacks were godawful

That was the most Kerry of Kerry interviews from young Crowley.

Some man in fairness to him . Is there a man in the gaa more pro actively dedicated to his county over such a long period ?

Not many

ok!

Tyrone beat Derry in a penalty shoot-out to win another Ulster at this level. Derry were the better team for most of it but were stone useless in front of goal. Were 4 points up with a few mins left but then conceded 1-1. Their woeful display of shooting continued into the penalty shoot-out with their first 3 penalties saved. Both sides looked like they were the product of many, many years of development squad work.

Christ that sounds grim

It was, though some of the speed of handpassing was impressive. Fellas were spraying pinpoint passes 30 yards back the field with ease, but the odd occasion they tried to hit a pass 30 yards forward things went to shite.
