The footballers are flying apparently…
It’s only an hour and a half in a bus.
Ahem.

Carnage awaits us. Dublin should win by 8 or 9 points at least.
theyre far too physical for us. will no doubt dominate midfield, and throw our small backs all over the shop. still ill be there supporting the clubmen.

What’s the craic with Mahy?
He’s too afraid to play against them so is waiting to be our “saviour” in the qualifiers.
What kind of shape is he in? Would he play 70 minutes?
Think he played 70 mins against the Kildare B team in a challenge a few weeks ago and scored 5 or 6 points from centre forward. He played most of the game in his own half which was encouraging. He’s been out for so long that I doubt he’d be close to full fitness but even at 75% he’d be worth his place on the team.
Matty is starting, probably on the forty. We have a few injury worries in the backs (Walshe and Murphy) but otherwise things have been going well in training. Morrisey is still a bit rusty but is likely to start in the forwards. I don’t think its any secret that they are going the jig things around position wise to try and counter the dubs (two man full forward line). Lookin forward to a day out in Croker and a feed of pints.
Any sign of Jim Bob making the step up from the juniors?
Nah, hes too busy, the strawberry pickin season has started
