Why should he? The rules should be applied to him as they are to everyone else. If Cork had won this game there wouldn’t be a word about it, and as you say if any other player did it there wouldn’t be a word about it. Tipp and Cork have always done this runt. It’s the only way they know.
What’s Turenne going on about this facial gouging thing for? Gouging does and always has referred to the eye. To gouge is to gouge something out. Galvin allegedly stuck his finger in Cadogan’s mouth. The gouging talk is utter bullshit.
Ah he stuck his finger in his mouth, and in fairness it’s probably the only way to get Cadogan to stop his fucking moaning, fellas were making excuses for him after the hurling but he wasn’t on the pitch 5 minutes on Sunday when he was straight into the refs ear. Cadogan should have bit it off. There’s plenty of stories of fellas getting a finger up there arse and nothing being done about it.
Anal gouging I think Turenne calls it
how long before NCC has a thread up about GGa shame
It was inevitable, given the rise in popularity of rugby, that some of the facets of that brutish british game would make it’s way into GAA.
have you ever had your anus penetrated runty…be it on a gaa field or in the bedroom/handicapped toilet
you cunt, I’m after nearly choking on my yorkie reading that.
I will take that as a yes
No doubt Galvin is getting a slightly rawer deal because of his previous record but in fairness that happens in all sports and even in the criminal justice system. It’s the way it should be as a fella who is always committing crimes should be come down on harder than a fella with a previously clean record who it could be argued just got a rush of blood to the head or lost it in the heat of the moment.
There’s no doubt what Galvin did was dirty, sneaky and not one bit hardy. He intentionally stuck his finger in Cadogan’s mouth and pulled at his cheek. What he did was a underhand, knackery act and I’d far rather see a fella suspended for that than an over the top kind of honest physical challenge. What he did probably just about deserves the minimum suspension of one month. Which is exactly what Galvin got but it was doubled because he was already sent off this year. Simple as that. Same rules for everyone.
Giving out about Cork is pure horse manure too. I find the ‘Rebels’ as irritating as the next man but its not like they ‘cited’ him or anything. The player complained at the time (as every single other player would), the fans complained after (as every single other set of fans would) and ihe’s very unlikely to miss a game against them even.
Give over boys. Galvin is a class player who is only getting better and the fact that a presumably intelligent 31 year old man can’t stop himself getting involved in bullshit like this and concentrate on the great player he is is his own fault and no one else’s.
I think that’s a ridiculous decision to ban Galvin for something so trivial. Was there a campaign in the media to get him banned over the past couple of days? To be honest, I was so pissed (off) after our game that I avoided anything or anywhere to do with GAA other than reading the threads on here. I’m biased in that I have Cork roots but I didn’t see much in that incident at all.
PS, Colm Cooper is not a degenerate. He’s a class act and a national treasure, just like Twink and the late Gerry Ryan.
If Gerry showed us anything Bandage it’s that you can be both.
I don’t think this is considered as justice anywhere. A guy is picked out because of his reputation, a reputation which has been decided upon by the self-appointed moral majority. This is a lynch mob, not justice. By the way I don’t agree with what Galvin did either, but then again I didn’t agree with Sean Og sticking his hurley through Fergal Healy’s helmet either.
Galvin can have no complaints. Fucking gouger.
Well said Sid, he’s a mouth gouger aswell the 4th worst kind,
- Anal Gouger
- Eye gouger
- Bellybutton Gouger
4.Mouth gouger - Nose gouger
- Ear gouger
Thas how I’d rank them anyway.
:o

Google the Cooney affair then fuck back to your traditional music.
WTB is just a contrary bollocks. If myself and Kev were saying St. Paul should be left off the tedious fucker would be baying for Galvin’s blood.
Galvins Bellybutton Gouging antics are well known
