Am awful shame Drogheda wont be allowed host this one. Serious blow for Louth and the potential atmosphere that could be generated by the pure hatred and bile after last year.

I say put the game there anyway, sell your 4,000 tickets and fuck the rest. Sure it might be narrow and short sighted, but fuck it, imagine the atmosphere you’ll get in there for this one, and its the least that Louth deserve given how they were fucked over last year. Parnell Park just wouldnt be the same.

I’m open to correction on this but I think that’s Carlows first Leinster semi final since 1968 and they haven’t been to a Leinster Final since 1941.

Carlow are making a meal of beating Louth surely. Well done lads ye beat a Division 3 team who had 14 men for a long stretch of the game by a point . And tweeted the venue of their Sunday session to the Sunday Game. Gas.

Did they put 4 goals past us that day or am I mistaken? Does anyone remember us actually playing them in the championship in Croke Park not so long ago? It was probably under Roe or Bealin and was held before a Dublin-Meath game. I think we beat them fairly comfortably but I can’t recall the exact year or what the scoreline was.

I’m having one of my fucking can’t sleep weeks so some GAA chat. I only watched The Sunday Game earlier - Marty Duffy’s red card to Michael Murphy was utterly shambolic. How can you get a decision so wrong?

He’s a dreadful ref. Loves giving cards, loves the lime light. Your typical chip on his shoulder little man who seems to get more excited pulling out his cards the higher profile the player is.

Him and his ilk are a poison on Gaelic Games.

Its in Brefni, because apparently there are OH&S issues with Drogheda, more than likely because they had shonky builders who pissed into the concrete to water it down. Its no coincidence that most of the stadia in India were built by construction concerns from Louth.
