Itās Tommy Guilfoyleā¦
Fucking hell
Respect dunph. It is indeed the one and only Tommy Guilfoyle of Feakle.
On the Guila-Gorrila to fuck
Who the fuck is he?
Is there a local newspaper there called āFeakle Mattersā?
Kev badly exposed
hey Watch The Break, are you a Feakle man yourself by any chance??
Yeah, why?
I expected better from Kev. what age was guilfolye when he made his debut?
Played for Clare from 1983 to 1994ā¦Stalwart in those daysā¦Dropped by Gerlock in 1995ā¦Was 17 when he came on for his debut in 1983 and didnāt really nail down a starting spot til the late 1980āsā¦Scored some big goals for Clare in his time
17, was 18 the following Octoberā¦
Wont see that happening again anytime soon.
Guilfoyle had spent the vast majority of his teenage years tending blocklayers and labouring, so he was plenty tough for itā¦Build like a brick shit house at that age, unfortunately he hurled like one too
He has the personality of one as well
Clare werenāt a force during his time. I remember the '86 final, but i donāt really remember the Clare players, only that a few of them were crying after. Other than that, at the time as a young fella i would have viewed Clare in the same way iād look at Carlow now.
He was involved with a divisional underage side when I was a garson and you couldnāt hurl under him, make a mistake and he would absolutely fuck you out of it from a height at the top of his voice, then stand as close to you on the sideline and wait for you to make another one, pure looperā¦Had the pleasure of getting a roasting off him as a cocky teenager with idead above my station a few years ago at junior level
That was a private chat!!!
He was on the extended panel in his last year Minor.
Not much in the way of coverage for the Meagher, Ring, and Rackard finals. Makes a bit of a mockery of all the hand wringing a few years ago over the spreading of hurling.
Didnāt even know they were on to be honest. A handful of people in an empty Croke Park, bit of a joke. Like you said, the spreading of hurling me arse, its up to the weaker counties to drag themselves up because the help wont come from elsewhere.
