Well if youâve been to West Belfast youâll know that it has 11 GAA clubs within a 2 and a half mile area - the biggest concentration of GAA clubs in Ireland. OâDonovan Rossa have contested an All-Ireland Club Hurling Final against Wexfordâs own Bufferâs Alley and contributed strongly to their 1989 All-Ireland Final team against Tipp.
why so serious mate?
they are Irish alright
why so uninformed mate?
I am having a tired and emotional, mate.
because its stick hurling
Eh, no kev he retracted it 15 years later in his autobiography.
Basically we still seem to be in the same position we have been for years now - mediocre forwards, shoddy decision making and clueless distribution. A Paudie Sul/Aisake/Horgan full forward can do damage if they are given decent ball - tonight we saw the corner forwards starved and ball after ball down on top of Aisake even though must were of a poor quality and it was clear the ref had a hard on for Aisake. Predictable before the game, predictable thoughout and so easy to deal with. We had an obscene amount of ball, particurly in the first half, that if used properly with quick balls to the corners and some ones to Aisake on the square could have done some damage. Thats the only way you can spread out the Waterford defence anyway, keep hitting the same ball to the same area and the opposition catches on double quick. As an aside, Cathal Naughton is lethal from range, let the fecker shoot, Cussen is terrible from range, make the fecker pass.
Decision making in crunch moments is also problem - for example, going for goals in ET when we should have taken points.
great hurler.
Unfortunately a real possibility.
Homer: So, Mr. Malloy, it seems that the cat has been caught by the very person who was trying to catch him.
Skinner: How ironic.
What Turettes is trying to say here is that Corks hurling team in 2010 would win all around them if the ref blew for A free every time an O Hailpin went for a ball and gave a penelty every time Aisake dived to the floor in an effort to disguise a lack of hurling that resorts him to having to act for a free every time the balll comes his wayâŚif Cork hurling is depending on footballers who stand nearer to the cieling than the floor then its finishedâŚ,hurling misses JBM,Charlie McCarthy,Ger Fitzgerald.John Fitzgibbon,Ger Manley,Kevin Henessy,Kevin Murray and Seanie McGrath evenâŚits been a joy to watch these Corkmen in action,if Cork needs heroes it will have to find some new onesâŚAisake me bolixâŚ,he wouldnt win a ball off ourb minor full back.
