Official Dublin City Marathon 2014 Thread
I indicated that I WAS way over weight. I’m probably 2 or 3 weeks of training away from race weight. The legs haven’t forgotten what to do and “the bounce” is good when I go out. I’ll run 10 miles this weekend and come back to you. And you @glasagusban .
A stone is nothing anyway.

You’re giving the distance too much respect. In my pomp I jogged around for 20 miles and then motored the last 6.
run like fuck, kev obviously is not mentally tough enough for a challenge like it

He’s weak, morally deficient and incapable of an act of courage.

9.11miles in 1hr 17mins or 8.32 min/mile. Just an easy run this evening.

What routes would you tend to take FP. Still around the Phoenix Park?

We are living in Terenure since February. There are a myriad of routes to run over here. I have gone as far as Sandyford and looped back around, run up to the observation point in Dublin mountains. I use Tymon and Marlay quite a bit aswell.

Handy out. Plenty of routes along the Dodder too.

Will you go the distance with me Macintosh?

I reckon he’d beat you.
By a nose.

Only if you let me use a bike

10miles tonight @7.14 min/mile.

FFS
If you don’t go and run this marathon you’re an absolute disgrace.

12 miles today. 1m w/u + 10miles@6.30 min/mile + 1m c/d.

LSR of 22miles this morning.

12 miles steady tonight.

hopefully you slip and fall in some night

Usually do a quick foam roll of calves, hamstrings, IT band, thighs and glutes. If I am doing a session, I would do 2 miles warm up and warm down. Otherwise, I would just take it very handy for first couple of miles before picking up the pace. Do some static stretches when I get home.

Why is that Mick?
