There are very gentle parts of the cliff walk. If you go up to the Summit car park and take the walk to the left as you come in it’s very gentle and scenic. You can loop around to the road as well and come back that way.

Was “out” there for the first time in 3 months. Dinner in House in Howth. Place was full. Curried crab to start, Prawn Taco for main, glass of Picpoul to wash it down. Felt like a return to normality, for however long it can last.

Had an outdoor meal in Mamo in Howth there for the dinner tonight. Smoked eel tartlet for a nibble first. Scallop for starters, duck for main and strawberry choux for dessert. Nice Slovenian white wine to go with it.

Did you get the Higgins beef?

I didn’t. I could get that any day of the week.

I jist had a lovely bowl of chowder there on the west pier @Fagan_ODowd. Having long abused a mate for making us pay 14e for a toastie in Pòg on a cycle stop one time, we were pleasantly surprised to find a lovely bowl of chowder for just 6.95 in Crabby Joes i think. Loads of fish, lovely flavour and texture, 2 lovely slices of brown soda bread.

Signing in to log another tremendous meal in Mamo of Howth last night. Had the signature cod chip to kick off, langoustine ravioli next, John Dory for the main and eschewed dessert as I was as full as a tick. Had a delicious Portuguese Pinot Noir (I know) to accompany the meal.

What was this chief?

It’s a mix of cod and spud pressed into the shape of a a chip with a bit of taramasalata on the top. For all the world it’s like a mini fish and chip.
