yeah, not too sure if McAllister likes him too much as a player. Saw him recently in a reserve game and he ran the show for 90 mins. He has a yr left on his contract and he’s 31 now so can’t see him bein there next season.

Of the 7 goals, only one was scored from inside the box. The first 3 Leeds ones were all hit from beyond 30 yards. Great header by Beckford as well. The Leeds version of “Fat Andy” also got a screamer as well.

huge game tonight against hartlepool at elland road in the carling cup…we need to keep our momentum up and i would fancy us to win by two or three…reckon that macallister will rotate a bit tonight and give a few of the lads that have been in and out of the team a game, like snodgrass, howson, hughes and robinson…hopefully our two teenage sensations delph and white get a run also…

did 16 year old Aiden White play?? He came from Brazilian Soccer Schools in Leeds where he trained from the age of 8. Brazilian Soccer Schools are excellent, think there is one or 2 of their Academies in Dublin now
In fairness if there’s one thing Leeds have been good at while in terminal decline its giving youth its chance. They must have one of the best Academies in England and have blooded so many players over the last few years:
Robinson, Carson, Woodgate, Smith, Milner, Lennon are 6 names that jump out straight away. I’m sure there’s plenty more. There’s deffo a couple more that came through in the last year or 2 but cant for the life of me remember the names. Johnny Howson is one anyway.
