Take kilkenny out of it and there is very little between the rest of the teams IMO…Kilkenny as long as they are tuned in about the task in hand and don’t believe their own hype( which they won’t) will beat every team pulling up again this year, the likes of Waterford, Galway, Tipp et al all have too many prominent weak links/passengers to compete with them unless Kilkenny have a off day…
Richie Power is finaly starting to deliver on his potential and is a joy to watch at the moment, his touch/control of a slioter is top drawer…
has anyone else on here considered the notion that this Kilkenny team could be on some sort of lets just say performance enhancing products?? Seems reasonable to ask??
Tried to pull the head off any number of Galway players at different times in the game. Should have walked in the skelping at the sideline, and eventually got a yellow when he tried to decapitate another Galway player.
Shocking stuff from RT there, never mentioned the row nor what Buckley did to get sent off for.

It is and it isn’t, pretty much all the kilkenny panel were superb underage hurlers and have carried it through, very few have come from nowhere to make the panel(Gorta is the only one that springs to mind)…The fact of the matter is that they are a more rounded team than the rest and that is why they are cleaning up, for example Clare would have no problem competing and matching Kilkenny’s physicality but would be miles off them in terms of hurling, Galway would have a some great hurlers for an open game with them(2001 & 2005) but wouldn’t be able to compete with them physically…
Also they have 8 or 9 top class scoring forwards while there isn’t another county with more than 3…
To say they could be taking performance enhancing products stinks of bitterness and begrudgery…
