Absolutely,that other stupid GAA game is never going to take hold round these parts,we wont have it.Our lot play a fair bit of handball to our credit,A GAA sport thats ignored my most other Counties,it helps fellas with the handpassing is our main motivation for promoting it here in Kilkenny.

I think its quotes like that which worry fran. Fair enough agreeing with a no hoper from Wexford or Cork, but when one of your own says it you always fear it’ll come back to haunt you, and even tho one of ye cunts say it, the whole lot of ye will get the abuse for it.

Agree, he’s a big loss, one of the older guys who has a few years in him, awful affliction. That team was more or less 2nd string. Nonetheless its good these guys are in the thoughts of the selectors. And they are playing games. What used to drive me mad was guys missing games with their clubs and sitting on a bench with the county team without a prayer of coming on. Thus not doing enough hurling.
