1 Eoin O’Broin SF - reduced vote but safe.
2 Shane Moynihan FF - FF haven’t had a candidate here in years but this fella is pounding the doors.
3. Paul Gogarty. Got 3,300 first preference votes in the locals across two wards. He’s back.
4 Mark Ward - SF - could even be ahead of O’Broin - I think this fella has stolen a lot of Gino Kenny’s thunder in Neilstown and Clondalkin.
5 An FG seat - definitely one here for them, Emer Higgins is the sitting TD and is in the less represented Rathcoole/Saggart end of the constituency although she seems like an awful twat and it’s not beyond the bounds of possibility she loses to the seat to her running mate Vikki Casserly who seems like less of a twat.
I think Gino Kenny will be doing very well to hang on this time.
I’d watch Glen Moore of the Irish Freedom Party. Won’t get in but could do quite well. He got a seat in the locals. He’s like a 4Chan poster, a Trump loving incel type transplanted to West Dublin.
He def has an outside chance but I think he’s too polarising a figure to get enough transfers. I’d say he’ll get a couple of thousand votes but won’t be in the final reckoning
Last time they got 31% of the vote or 1.3 quotas and managed to get 2 out of 3 seats.
I think their issue this time will be Shatter taking some of those votes - enough to stop a second seat. But I’d absolutely think it’s possible they get 2 - they’ll be in the mix at the end.
