For anybody doubting that Aontú are very much to the right, their candidate in Louth’s transfers overwhelmingly went to that creep Hermann Kelly. Thankfully Kelly was still eliminated in the process. There’s another 8 or 9 above them and none of them got close (most were 150-200 votes as opposed to Kelly’s 700+) in the transfers

Getting the c2c across the line was huge
Charles Ward the Redress candidate has jumped ahead on transfers in Donegal and looks home and hosed.
He’s 3k ahead of Thomas Pringle.
Charlie McConalogue FF is 2k ahead of Pringle and that’s Pringle’s only hope.
There are two FG candidates and then 5.3k transfers from SF3 at play but it would take the mother and father of a Lazarus act for Pringle to hang on.
No better man.

Paul Reynolds fairly wound up Hutch at the count earlier, he seemed happy enough to speak to the media amd pose for pictures until Williams turned up asking him about the Special Criminal Court. I’m not sure what the point of that was.
