Looks like Sheehan has it in Limerick. Ewan can relax.
I think you are right
I’ve often wondered where the McGuinness vote will go if Andrew doesn’t nail down the succession and it scatters
AK47 told Yatesy weeks back to write it down that Sheehan would get there and he was right.
Recheck denied in Meath East
I think Labour will end up with 11 and the Soc Dems 10. The remaining three shots the Soc Dems had in Carlow-KK, Limerick and Dublin South Central look to not be coming through.

Is Kenny from Mallow going to take it in Cork North Central?
Mick Barry vs Eoghan Kenny (Labour) for the last seat in Cork North-Central.
Why did ‘Deliverance’ come into my mind? One for the ages in many ways…
195 the gap. Barry actually slightly increased his lead over the Labour candidate off the Soc Dem transfers.
He’s using all his experience to will things his way during this count. He’s BATTLING magnificently.
Sheehan has done it. Huge transfer from Dee Ryan
Heneghan has moved ahead of Tormey (FG) & Heney (FF) in Dublin Bay North.
Labour votes next to be distributed. Crucially for Heneghan, neither the first FG or FF candidate is very close to the quota yet, so there won’t be a huge surplus.
Heneghan probably benefits most from both the Labour & SF transfers to come.
It’s probably for the better.
But from a TFK entertainment point of view it’s a poor result.
What was the margin?
Will it be disputed?
I doubt it. Over 600 in the difference.
- It won’t be disputed.
600-odd in the end.
Dispute would be over the alphabetical order, if anything.
You’d have to assume Heneghan will walk it from here.
No better girl for a dispute.
